Pir Kremer (1919-2000) was a Luxembourgish satirist, cabaret artist, author of radio plays and theatre pieces. He was also a broadcaster, a songwriter and poet. As such, he has had a strong influence on the national radio scene and language.

Picking out (his acronym “Pik” is the Luxembourgish word for picking out) everyday events is one of the strengths of his work, many of which have retained their impact beyond their time.
