After careful consideration, it has been decided to redesign the original route of the Mansfeld Circular Trail. Specifically, the southwestern section, which is also part of the Wenzel Circular Walk, has been replaced with an alternative route. The redesign provides walkers with additional vantage points overlooking the suburb of Clausen – one of the oldest and smallest districts of Luxembourg City – and a better view of the district belonging to the fortified lower town of the capital. Despite the altered route, the circular trail remains a total of 4.6 km in length, and the average walking time is still approximately two hours. Furthermore, the palisade in Mansfeld Park at the park entrance on Rue de Clausen continues to indicate the Circular Trail.
